BENEFITS

Why It Makes a Difference

Site-First Pre-Production

Before I arrive, we confirm the project phase, the access plan, the safety brief, and the shot list. The groundwork is what separates considered construction photography from a photographer slowing trades down for the wrong frames.

Pro-Grade Equipment

From full-frame cameras and tilt-shift lenses to off-camera flash and a licensed drone, every piece of gear is chosen for sharp industrial photography that holds up at boardroom-print size and pulls clean at full resolution.

Safe, Efficient On-Site Workflow

I arrive in full PPE, follow the site's safety induction, and move quickly through the planned shot list. The result is calm construction site photography that respects the trades and keeps the build moving.

Intentional Post-Production

Window pulls, vertical correction, sky replacements, and colour balance are handled with care. The end result reads as a sharper version of the build, never an obvious composite that erodes trust with engineers or owners.

Aerial & Ground Coverage

From considered ground frames to aerial construction photography and construction drone photography that shows the site in full context, every project gets the full angle range without juggling multiple vendors.

Story-First Direction

Whether the brief is construction progress photography for owner records, marketing imagery, or a full portfolio shoot at handover, every frame is shaped around the role the image needs to play.

How it Works

Great construction photography happens around the schedule of a working build. Here is what working together looks like, from site visit to delivery.

SITE VISIT & PLANNING

The work starts the moment you reach out. We walk the site or review project drawings, agree access, timing, and safety requirements, then lock a shoot plan around the project phase. If drone coverage is part of the brief, airspace and flight authorisations are filed ahead of the visit.

ON-SITE SHOOT

On the day, I arrive early in full PPE, follow the site induction, and work through the shot list with intent. Full-frame cameras, tilt-shift lenses, and licensed drone coverage capture overview, detail, and trades-in-action without slowing the build. The whole visit is built to be safe, calm, and respectful of trades on the clock.

EDITING & DELIVERY

Photos go through window pulls, vertical correction, sky replacement, and final colour balance the same week. Your edited gallery is delivered in full resolution with web and stakeholder-report crops, ready to drop straight into project records or marketing. A structured review round is built in if anything needs adjusting.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does construction photography cost in Canada?

The cost of construction photography in Canada is shaped by site size, project phase, whether you need single-visit coverage or ongoing construction progress photography, and whether drone work is involved. A focused milestone visit is priced very differently from a multi-phase documentation package across a build. Every quote is itemised so you can see what shoot, edit, and licensing each cost before you commit.

What types of construction photography do you offer, progress documentation, completion shots, drone/aerial, or team on-site?

All of them. Progress documentation for owners and contractors, milestone and completion shots for marketing, aerial construction photography for context and scope, and trades-in-action coverage that gives a project page real character. The right mix is scoped at booking so a single construction photographer covers everything the project needs, not five separate vendors.

Can you photograph an active job site safely, and what do you need from us to coordinate access?

Yes. I carry current site-safety credentials, arrive in full PPE, and follow whatever induction your foreman or site super requires. To coordinate access I need the site address, parking and entry instructions, the active phases at the time of the visit, and a contact on the ground. Construction site photography moves quickly when the access plan is sorted in advance.

Do you offer ongoing progress photography packages for multi-phase or long-duration builds?

Yes. Ongoing construction progress photography is scoped as a series of visits across the project lifecycle, scheduled around key milestones: site prep, foundation, framing, envelope, fit-out, and handover. Visits and turnaround are agreed at the start so each phase is documented consistently with the same construction photographer, the same gear, and the same edit treatment.

Can drone or aerial photography be added to a construction shoot?

Yes. Aerial construction photography and construction drone photography are available as add-ons on every visit, weather and airspace permitting. Aerial coverage shows lot context, neighbouring infrastructure, roof and envelope progress, and overall scope that ground frames cannot capture. All flights are flown under a current commercial drone pilot certificate, with airspace authorisations filed ahead of the shoot.

How are the final photos delivered, and what usage rights do we get for marketing, permitting, and social media?

Edited photos are delivered in full resolution with web and stakeholder-report crops, ready to drop into project records, marketing collateral, or permitting submissions. Standard licensing covers your own marketing, social media, internal reporting, and permitting use for an agreed term. Extended use for paid media or third-party syndication is scoped at booking so your industrial photography rights are clear from day one.
